Yes, it has to be the first, Teuten Healing held in the wing. It is a happy Robin. My first reaction was to smile. Then I felt my heart opening. There’s a wisdom too, think it comes from the eye.

Teuten Healing logo design – a health company branding

Teuten Healing logo design and creation was largely an illustration exercise. Having been briefed in terms of a ‘feeling’ the client had for the expression of the logo I managed to create a look and character she loved.

Of course, many clients use their feelings when choosing a logo. The Teuten Healing logo design was a case in point. The question I am sure the client asked herself was…. does it represent the company in feel, personality or even colour? It is a question that is considered also by many and not every decision is made scientifically and logically it has to be said.

Let me explain how I designed this logo

The Robin was hand drawn with help from various reference sources, scanned then coloured in Illustrator. It is worth noting here, all logos should be created or originated in Adobe Illustrator. So many aren’t. Why is that? Well, down the line you might want your logo produced on a banner or van and Adobe Illustrator is the software that allows the logo to be printed at any size with perfect clarity. I used two type styles, the name giving a soft feel, approachable much like the Robin and the strapline, an italic sans serif typeface. Educated, authoritative but relaxed. There has to be the right balance of emotion and positivety in a logo and I think this has been achieved.
